Top-Line (Drop-Down) Menu: Image
================================
System
------
Details of your system; 'Working Memory' is how much free computer
memory Paintshop still has at its disposal.
'Popup Redraw' sets how quickly the floating menu (Menus 1,2 & 3)
follows the cursor around the screen. A setting of 1 and there is
hot pursuit, 9999 and it takes ages to move. The suggested norm
of 200 is about right.
Copy
----
A picture may be copied on top of another picture or into an empty
screen. Click on Copy and there are two columns of boxes numbered
1, 2 and 3. The column on the left is what is copied off, and on
the right is the destination. The heavy arrow shows what is going
where. When the source and destination have been selected, click
on >>COPY<<.
The sixteen boxes in the lower part of the Copy-control are for a
variety of copying modes - permutations of what will and will not
be copied, and whether the copy is transparent, colour reversed
etc. 'Replace' is a straightforward over-write.
When 'Double Page' is in use things can get confusing. Only one
screen of the duo is going to be overlaid or copied, dependant
upon where the slider is set in the '2 Images' control box (this
double-page function comes under the top-line 'Printer' menu).
The Picture-number for copies to or from Double Page changes
according to which one of the three pictures is not included
in the double page. To carry out this copying operation you
do not use >>COPY<<, just click on the relevant option box.
Picture
-------
Click on a picture-numbered box and the screen will change to that
picture. 'Delete' completely erases a picture.
Note that the picture/s affected by your actions in the Picture-
control box need not be that which is currently showing on screen.
Draw-colour and Background-colour can be set for each of the three
picture screens. If you have a black area upon which you wish to
draw in white, here is where you can change the drawing colour.
These settings can be changed at any time.
Delete Double Page: Cut Out erases the picture which is currently
under the Double-Page slider (slider set via
'Printer' menu, '2 Images' control box).
2 Page erases both of the pictures used on
the double page.
